what is this place?

Wild Child is a culinary events + education space hosted by Rebel Rebel. This is where we dive deep into the people, places, and methods that shape the way we eat and drink. This is where we foster and build community through our connections to food. This is where we learn new things and meet new people. 

Come browse our selection of hard-to-find cookbooks, food memoir, and culinary zines. Because we’re a Rebel Rebel sister space, you can have a glass of wine while you shop—take a seat at one of our custom tables and sink into Alice Waters’ 40th anniversary ode to Chez Panisse, or explore the newest release from Barcelona design favorite, Apartamento. Flip through Edna Lewis’ stunning memoir, or get to know James Beard Award-winning chef Mashama Bailey on the pages of her award-winning personal narrative. Once a week, we host a one-hour wine class. It’s fun, irreverent, and meant to make learning about wine accessible and approachable. We laugh a lot. Bring a friend or make some new ones.
